Re: Please Move |
I don't know whether it's PD or not. I agree with Moongleam that Alpha sells it (for six bucks, quite low so that says possible PD) and I saw where someone or other will sell you a 16mm print.
But the copyright notice that starts about 35 seconds in is obviously a badly done redaction. Something is under that black bar in the lower center, but what?
Love note from Wade Williams? Easter egg? Treasure map?
Let me repeat, I don't know whether it's PD or not. I'm going to watch it right now, just in case!

Re: Please Move |
Retro Film Vault also carries it.
In addition, a search of USCO turns up three hits. The first two are for copyright transfers, and the third is by Alpha Video for its artwork.
And I did not see the W name at USOC.

Re: Please Move |
Your original 'Move This Film" post cited an 'invalid copyright'.
That also was the point of my question.
What about that 'invalid' copyright notice?
Isn't 'something' being covered over there? How could you look at it and say it's invalid--it's been tampered with.
Why, I don't claim to know.

Re: Please Move |
You are absolutely correct. I must confess to not seeing the 'bar' when I screened the movie, ergo citing an invalid copyright. For copyright purposes let me say that I cannot find a renewal, and that two different retailers sell it. Thanks for your input.
